City reopens the chase on Pepe

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has given the green light for the renewed hunt for Real Madrid defender Pepe, knows fresh sports to report. The club  last month tried to get the 30-year-old Portuguese to the Etihad Stadium, but City did not meet the 35 million euros Real asks for him at that time. Now Real Madrid needs money to fund the arrival of Gareth Bale, the transfer may well get close.
